Pedestal

Todays plan was to pick Tia's feet up then do the drunken dance around her and play with driving game and the pedestal. We had to play catching game first because Tia didn't want the halter on.
Picking up her feet didn't take as long as the last time but she still kept moving away when I asked her to pick up her right hind, I must be doing something slightly different, must remember to ask Cathy to watch me do that. No problems at all with the drunken dance....
Driving game is getting better and better even on her right side.
Pedestal was reaaallly good. The last time we had played with it Tia was starting to paw at it so I knew it wasn't going to take too much longer. The moment we stopped at the pedestal she started pawing which I rewarded with a treat and each time she made a little more effort she got another one. Tia put her hoof flat on the pedestal for a millisecond, so we went off to play with driving game again, now she was offering to paw on everything we stopped at, clever horse! We went back to the pedestal for one last try, I was running out of treats!!! when she almost stood on it with one foot I was going to take her away but she wanted to stay and work this out, just a second later she was standing up there with both feet, I just managed to grab another treat off Donna before she got off. So pleased with my baby. Great place to end the session I think.
